Browns' Billy Winn Fills In For Injured John Hughes

Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Billy Winn took fellow rookie John Hughes' spot in practice on Monday as Hughes nursed an undisclosed injury, according to Nate Ulrich of Ohio.com. Head coach Pat Shurmer didn't seem to be too worried about Hughes, a third-round draft pick out of Cincinnati, saying that "he'll be out there soon."

Here is a full list of players that sat out the entirety of practice:

cornerback Dimitri Patterson (right ankle), strong safety Usama Young (reported hamstring), rookie running back Trent Richardson (had arthroscopic surgery on left knee Aug. 9), strong safety Ray Ventrone (right hamstring), weakside linebacker Chris Gocong (had surgery Aug. 10 to repair torn right Achilles tendon and is out for the season), rookie linebacker Emmanuel Acho (undisclosed), defensive tackle Scott Paxson (right knee), offensive lineman Oniel Cousins (Shurmur cited soreness), defensive end Juqua Parker (undisclosed), defensive tackle Phil Taylor (had surgery to repair torn pectoral muscle May 16 and is out at least until late October) and strongside linebacker Scott Fujita (left leg).

In addition to the players who missed practice entirely, running back Chris Ogbonnaya and cornerback Antwuan Reed left practice early due to injuries.
