Towson Vs. Kent State 2012: Schedule, Game Time, Spread And More

The Kent State Golden Flashes started their 2011 season off with three straight losses, but they're giving themselves a bit of a break to start 2012. After opening with the Alabama Crimson Tide last year, Kent State will host the Towson Tigers to break open the 2012 season.

Towson, though, is no slouch. The Tigers were one of the better teams in the FCS last year, finishing 9-2 on the season and advancing to the second round of the league's playoffs. Kent State, meanwhile, is coming off of a 5-7 season that was highlighted by a four-game winning streak late in the season. The Golden Flashes are expected to have one of the best defenses in the MAC, but the offense -- as always -- will need to step up if they want to contend for a bowl game.
