U.S. Open 2012: Schedule, TV Coverage, Streaming And More

Friday's matchups at the 2012 U.S. Open include men's favorite Novak Djokovic in second round action vs. Sergio Dutra Silva and Venus Williams and Serena Williams vs. Klaudia Jans-Ignacik and Kristina Mladenovic in second round doubles action. Djokovic's match is scheduled for approximately 1 p.m. and the Williams sisters are scheduled at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Other big matchups include Maria Sharapova against Mallory Burdette in women's third round play at approximately 1 p.m. and Andy Roddick, who announced on Thursday that he will retire after the 2012 U.S. Open, vs. Bernard Tomic in men's second round action at 7 p.m. See the full Friday schedule at the U.S. Open website.

Among the notables advancing on Thursday were Mardy Fish on the men's side and Agnieszka Radwanska, the No. 2 seed on the women's side.

Television coverage of Friday's action runs from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the Tennis Channel and from 1-11 p.m. on ESPN2.
