Trent Richardson Highlights Browns Loss In Cincinnati With 2 Amazing Touchdowns

Robert Griffin III has stolen all the headlines when it comes to rookie play early in the season, but the No. 3 pick, Trent Richardson announced his arrival in a big way Sunday against the Bengals. Cincinnati linebacker Rey Maualuga said earlier this week that the rookie running back was "nothing spectacular." Richardson said the comments sparked him, and he showed it on the field Sunday.

Richardson had two highlight touchdown plays that should have Browns' fans salivating over what's to come. It was a stark contrast from his disappointing debut against the Eagles last week, and his play against the Bengals was certainly a bright spot in the 34-27 loss. The first big play came on second-quarter run, as Richardson burst through the line and cut it outside for a 32-yard touchdown -- the first of his career. But the Alabama superstar would outdo that on his second touchdown, a 23 yard dump-off by Brandon Weeden. Animated gifs of both plays after the jump:

The rookie running back finished the day 109 yards on 19 carries, nearly a six-yard average. He also had four catches for 36 yards, including the above touchdown.
