Jim Brown Will Attend Browns Alumni Events This Weekend

Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown will be attending the Cleveland Browns Alumni Weekend this weekend (Sept. 21-23). The presence of Brown should help mend the rift between the legendary RB and the organization. Brown had a falling out with Cleveland when current team president Mike Holmgren reduced Brown's role with the team in 2010. That slight caused Brown to quit his position.

Since that time Brown has had nothing but criticism for the Browns, even recently, but his attendance this weekend may be the first step towards fixing the relationship.

Brown is expected to attend an alumni golf outing on Friday, a dinner on Saturday, and attend the Browns game when they host the Buffalo Bills at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. At halftime of the game former DB Clarence Scott and RB Ernie Green will be inducted into the Cleveland Browns Legends. Brown has missed the last two induction ceremonies due to his differences with Holmgren and the team.
