Buffalo Vs. Kent State: MACtion Returns On Wednesday Night

They're not especially sure why the MAC is holding football games on Wednesday nights in September, but Matt Sussman of the Hustle Belt certainly isn't complaining about this week's Kent State-Buffalo affair. Both teams have lost games this season to SEC opponents, although they've also easily handled games against lesser teams.

As Sussman notes, Kent State could be an intriguing team this season if the offense can figure things out. At one point against Kentucky, the Golden Flashes trailed 17-14 in the third quarter, so they're capable of playing with solid opponents. Plus: "They create turnovers like nobody's business."

Buffalo is coming off an impressive 56-point, 571-yard performance against Morgan State, but Sussman doesn't expect such prolific offensive numbers to be compiled by the Bulls' offense on Wednesday. He isn't predicting a win for Kent State, though, seeing a close 33-25 victory for Buffalo.
