The Cleveland Indians look to avoid the sweep Sunday as they face the Kansas City Royals and the pitching debut of their top pitching prospect.
David Huff (1-0, 2.61) takes the mound for Cleveland, looking to rebound from a rough outing against the Minnesota Twins his last time out. Huff allowed three runs on seven hits and lasted only 4⅓ innings in the no-decision. Sunday's outing will mark his second start of 2012.
Top pitching prospect Jake Odorizzi will make his major-league debut for the Kansas City Royals. Odorizzi, who was a key piece of the deal that sent Zack Greinke to the Milwaukee Brewers, was 11-3 with a 2.93 ERA in Triple-A.
A win Sunday could propel the Indians out of last place in the AL Central. They are 62-90 on the season.
