First-round play in the 2012 BMW Championship at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind., gets underway Thursday with the first golfers teeing off at 11:15 a.m. Television coverage is from 3-6 p.m. on The Golf Channel.
All eyes will be on the group that tees off at 11:48 a.m. Thursday. That group includes Rory McIlroy, the current No. 1 golfer in the world. McIroy is coming off a win Monday in the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship, finishing at 20-under. He'll tee off with Tiger Woods, who also was impressive in the Deutsche Bank Championship, finishing at 18-under and in third. Nick Watney is the third member of their group in the BMW Championship.
A full list of tee times in Thursday's first round is available here. Two golfers with Ohio ties, Ben Curtis of Stow, Ohio, and Jason Dufner, a Cleveland native, are among the golfers in the field. Dufner tees off at 11:37 a.m. Thursday in a group with Phil Mickelson and Zach Johnson. Curtis tees off at 11:15 a.m. with Ian Poulter and Jimmy Walker.
