The 2012 BMW Championship will kick off on Thursday afternoon in Carmel, Ind., with most of the top players in the PGA competing in the third of four FedEx Cup tournaments. Leading the FedEx Cup is Rory McIlroy, who will be teeing off on Thursday alongside Tiger Woods and Nick Watney, who is currently in second place in the FedEx Cup standings.
The tournament will begin at 12:15 p.m. ET, with Tim Clark, Mark Wilson and Bryce Molder in the first group. The last group features Charley Hoffman and Dicky Pride, and they'll tee off at 2:16 p.m. ET. Defending BMW champion Justin Rose is in one of the day's more stacked groups, as he'll play with Rickie Fowler and Lee Westwood.
