BMW Championship Leaderboard: Cleveland Locals Climb Leaderboard

On Friday at the BMW Championship each of the Cleveland locals did well for themselves and climbed up the leaderboard with two rounds still to play. With a three-under par performance on Friday, Kent State alum Ben Curtis climbed to No. 33 on the leaderboard where he is tied with Cleveland-native Jason Dufner who managed seven birdies on Friday.

They are still far from the tournament lead, though, as Vijay Singh has set a blistering pace at 13-strokes under through two rounds. Just behind him are two of the top three in the FedEx Cup standings, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlory, tied at one stroke off the lead.

While Woods managed to avoid bogeys all round and finished with birdies on three of the last four holes. McIlroy took an entirely different route to stay among the top of the leaderboard, hitting six birdies and an eagles, but also knocking in four bogeys.

Round three of the BMW Championships will get started on Saturday morning.
