U.S. Open 2012 Tennis Scores: Women's Final Postponed, Murray Leads Berdych

According to the U.S. Open's official website, the 2012 U.S. Open women's final will not be played on Saturday evening. Instead, the match between fourth seeded Serena Williams and top seeded Victoria Azarenka will be delayed until Sunday. Heavy rain and winds in the forecast have forced the postponement. The starting time will be announced by 7 p.m. ET this evening. Williams is playing for her fourth Open title. Azarenka has never before reached a U.S. Open final.

Neither men's semifinal will be rescheduled, and No. 3 Andy Murray and No. 6 Tomas Berdych are currently underway. No. 4 David Ferrer is still scheduled to face No. 2 Novak Djokovic after the first semi-final concludes. Murray currently leads 5-1 in the third set as the match is tied at a set apiece.
