SB Nation's Mocking The Draft released their latest mock draft on Monday morning. In it, they have the Cleveland Browns selecting LSU DE/OLB Barkevious Mingo.
There are rumors that new coach Rob Chudzinski is switching to a 3-4 defense, Mingo would be a natural fit. Even if they stick with a 4-3, Mingo is the best available pass rusher left on the board in this particular mock:
Mingo is an athletic dynamo who was often used to contain the edge...he's agile and active enough to be a linebacker but he can play with his hand down as well. Of course he'll need to improve as a run defender, but adding a player that may need to be game planned around will benefit the defense as a whole.
This year's draft is a bumper crop for DE/OLB talent, and even if the Browns don't go with Mingo, they could have their pick of Bjoern Werner, Damontre Moore, Dion Jordan and Jarvis Jones.
