No. 25 Kent State squandered a goal line opportunity against the Arkansas State Red Wolves to end the first quarter of the GoDaddy.com Bowl tied, 0-0.
Arkansas State received the kickoff to begin the game but were forced to punt after a short, five play possession. Kent State took the punt and wasted little time marching down the field. Running back Julian Durden broke off a 32-yard run that put the ball on Arkansas State's one-yard line. But after two stops at the goal line, Keith threw a pass that was tipped and intercepted in the endzone for a touchback.
The Red Wolves drove 27 yards on the following possession but again were forced to punt. Kent State could do nothing with their possession either, as they punted the ball away as the first quarter ended.
Keith is 6-for-8 for 26 yards and one interception, while Durham has five carries for 17 yards.
