The second round of the MAC tournament begins on Wednesday, March 13. There will be four teams in action on Wednesday, and the games will move from the home court of the higher seed to the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
The first second-round game will pit the No. 5 Ball St. Cardinals against the No. 8 Buffalo Bulls. The Cardinals received a bye to the second round, while the Bulls defeated the No. 9 Central Michigan Chippewas, 74-72, in the first round of the tournament. The Bulls won the only matchup between the two teams this season, a 66-63 victory at Worthen Arena.
The game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on Sports Time Ohio.
The second game in the second round will feature the No. 7 Eastern Michigan Eagles vs. the No. 11 Miami (Ohio) Redhawks. Both teams won their first-round games; the Eagles defeated the No. 10 Northern Illinois Huskies, 45-44, while the Redhawks beat the No. 6 Bowling Green Falcons, 63-52. The two teams split the season series, with each team winning on the other's home court.
The second game will start at 9 p.m. ET, with Sports Time Ohio televising the game.
