The Akron Zips and Ohio Bobcats get one more day of preparation as the quarterfinals of the MAC Tournament get going in Cleveland. Meanwhile, the Kent St. Golden Flash look to advance to the semifinals as they take on the Buffalo Bulls.
The quarterfinal match up with the Bulls is actually the Golden Flash first game of the tournament. Kent St. finished the regular season as the number four seed in the MAC, which gave them a buy through the first two rounds of the tournament. If the Golden Flash win, it will set up and all Ohio semifinal match up against the top seeded Zips. The Golden Flash and Bulls tip off at 6:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on ESPN3.
That match up is followed by Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan. The winner of that game will take on the number two seeded Bobcats. Friday's semifinals start at 6:30 p.m. ET from the Quicken Loans Arena with Akron taking on the winner of Buffalo and Kent St. Both games can be seen on Sports Time Ohio.
