2012 MAC Football Schedule Released: Akron, Kent State Get Started Aug. 30

The 2012 MAC Football Schedule has been released, and all dates are set for Kent State, Akron and Ohio University.

With the release of the 2012 MAC football schedule, the NCAA schedule for football is mostly set for the coming season. There's a few changes here or there, but nothing major, while the Temple Owls leave and UMass joins. The schedule includes a minimum of nine regular season games to be nationally televised on ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3. For the regular season, it all gets going on August 30, when Cleveland-area teams Akron and Kent State wil ltake on Central Florida and Towson, respectively.

Also from the region is Ohio University, which will begin its season on Sept. 1 when they take on Penn State. You can catch the "new" Umass on Aug. 30. Anyway, the full schedule is here, and below we'll list the dates for each of the schools in the area, including Akron, Kent State and Ohio.
