Bucks vs. Cavs preseason: Milwaukee cruises to 97-80 win over Cleveland

Kyrie Irving and C.J. Miles pace offense for Cavs in preseason loss.

The Milwaukee Bucks took control of the game in the second quarter before cruising to a 97-80 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in NBA preseason play at the Canton Civic Center.

Milwaukee's back court tandem of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis led the way for the Bucks, scoring 15 points each with Jennings adding seven assists. Mike Dunleavy came off the bench to add 12 points for the Bucks, while rookie forward John Henson chipped in six points and seven rebounds in 12 minutes of play.

Cleveland found production from their guards, as well, with C.J. Miles scoring 18 points and making 4 of 7 three-point shots. Point guard Kyrie Irving added 16 points with three assists, but also turned the ball over three times. Rookie Dion Waiters struggled in his 14 minutes of play off the bench, scoring two points on 1 of 7 shooting with four turnovers.

The Cavs resume preseason play on Friday when they take on the Chicago Bulls at the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL.
