NFL Trade Deadline: All's Quiet For Browns...Right Now

The NFL Trade Deadline is later this afternoon, and all seems quiet in terms of the Browns and any trades.  That said, the Browns do have one bullet in the chamber so to speak, and with needs at WR and CB, they could decide to use it.

The bait?  DT Shaun Rogers.

↵

Rogers played little in the Browns' loss in Pittsburgh and seems to have fallen out of favor with the front office.  Rogers has proven to be a force when he's motivated and going to a situation where he has a chance to win could be just the thing to get Rogers playing at a high level.

With Albert Haynesworth on the block, teams could look to Rogers, should Haynesworth get moved, as a cheaper option.

While nothing seems likely now, things can change in a hurry, especially for a team like the Browns, who likely do not consider Rogers a part of the future here in Cleveland.
