The Cleveland Browns got some good news about one of their best players today. According to Eric Mangini, Josh Cribbs will practice today and is on track to play Sunday in New Orleans against the Saints. The Super Dome is a fast track, a perfect surface for Cribbs to be effective in the return game and in the Browns’ offense.
Cribbs was forced out of last Sunday’s game against the Steelers after he was hit in the helmet by Steelers’ LB James Harrison. It was one of the helmet-to-helmet hits that has caused a firestrom this week – and helped get Harrison fined $75k.
