NFL Standings Week 11: Browns Miss Chance To Gain Ground In AFC North

Losing is always tough, especially in the final minute of Overtime.  Lose on the same weekend that every other team in your division loses and that is an opportunity lost.

Baltimore started the weekend last Thursday by blowing a late lead against the Atlanta Falcons to lose 26-21.  Next up were the Cincinnati Bengals who tripped all over themselves in losing to the Colts 23-17 - in a game that saw Peyton Manning NOT throw a touchdown pass.

Not to be outdone, the Pittsburgh Steelers came out flat and fell short against the New England Patriots last night 39-26.

The Browns had a golden opportunity to gain some ground in the AFC North but fell just short.  That said, the Brown played three games against three pretty good opponents and won two of them.  Things are looking bright in Berea to be sure.

A look at the AFC North Standings:

AFC North Standings

Baltimore 6 3 0 196 165
Pittsburgh 6 3 0 200 162
Cleveland 3 6 0 172 182
Cincinnati 2 7 0 184 213
