During last year's Super Bowl weekend the NFL announced they were going to redesign the conference championship trophies. It didn't create much fanfare then, probably because the change was a year away. Fast-forward to now, with the AFC and NFC Championship Games set for this Sunday. That means the Lamar Hunt Trophy(AFC) and the George Halas Trophy(NFC) will be awarded to the winners. And the new design? Well, see for yourself.

I am all for updating out-dated designs, but there is something about the way the old trophy looked I like a lot better than the cookie-cutter new version.
