Jets Add Safety, Trail Steelers 24-12 In 4th Quarter

After stopping the New York Jets on three plays from the 1-yard line, the Pittsburgh Steelers needed to pick up a few yards to get out of the shadow of their own goal line. It took just one play for disaster to happen.

With starting center Maurkice Pouncey out with an injured ankle, Ben Roethlisberger fumbled the snap and was tackled in the end-zone for a safety. The Jets, down 12 points, still need two scores, but will be getting the ball back on a free kick.
