We've already talked about the SBNation Mock Draft, in which the Browns take WR Julio Jones of Alabama with the 6th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. How about Fanhouse? They, too, have the Browns taking a WR in their latest 2011 NFL Mock Draft, though the name is different:
6. Browns: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
Blackmon, a redshirt sophomore, led the country in receiving in 2010. If he declares for the 2011 draft, his mixture of his great hands, great route-running, and great production should cause him to jump off the board quickly. Cleveland needs a playmaker to add to the offensive core of the rough-and-tumble Peyton Hillis and the quickly-developing Colt McCoy.
As seen above, Blackmon had a solid season for the Cowboys. At 6-1, 210, Blackmon is also the perfect size for a WR in the West Coast offense preferred by Mike Holmgren. Whether or not the Browns should take a WR in the first round, is, well, another question all together.
