In advance of Sunday's game with the Seattle Seahawks the Browns have made a few moves in support of the ailing Peyton Hillis. Armond Smith has been signed from the practice squad, while Xavier Omon has been released:

Smith is a 25-year old running back from Union College in Kentucky. He is a rookie that has played in three games this season with three rushing attempts for a total of two yards. He was quite successful at Union College with 1,376 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2010. he was named the 2010 Mid-South Conference West Offensive Player of the Year, and also set numerous records in an outstanding senior year. He holds the school record with five touchdowns and 312 rushing yards in a game, and his season total is also a school record.
