Where Does Peyton Hillis Go Next?

As a 7th round draft pick by the Denver Broncos, Peyton Hillis was probably not initially worried about hitting it big in NFL free agency. In fact, he was probably initially concerned with just making the roster in the Mile High city.

After a trade to the Cleveland Browns and a 1,177 yard season in 2010, however, he has exceeded all initial expectations. He has since been unhappy with his contract, and Cleveland.com has begun speculating where he may end up if he leaves the Browns in free agency.

"I don't think anybody pushed anybody against the wall on contract talks and said, 'We're done,' but right now, it's kind of quiet," President Mike Holmgren said. "Let's let Peyton play, let the dust settle and see what happens."

If he ends up on the free agent market there is little question that he will be in high demand. Teams such as the Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, and New England Patriots could all use a tough, hard-nosed runner to fit in with their passing attacks.
