The AFC North has been excellent on defense this season, occupying all four of the top spots in yards allowed on defense. The Cleveland Browns, specifically, have one of the best pass defenses and a passable rushing defense, which put them at number four in the NFL in yards allowed, behind the division rival Ravens, Steelers and Bengals. Perhaps one of those defense just got a little bit stronger ... maybe? Adam Schefter reports:

It's really up for debate on whether or not this makes the team better, but he did get significant playing time for Cincinnati last season before going down with a neck injury against the Atlanta Falcons. Jones was immediately put on injured reserve and had a difficult time rehabbing once the season ended - due to the lockout he wasn't able to work with team doctors or coaches. Still, he's been added to the roster (they do like troublemakers over there), and the team didn't need to release anybody with Cedric Benson on suspension.
