On Wednesday, a number of Cleveland Browns players were missing or limited in practice, while some were considered unlikely to play on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, joining the ranks of running backs Peyton Hillis and Montario Hardesty, who have already been declared out. On Thursday, head coach Pat Shurmur told the media that T.J. Ward, who didn't participated in practice on Thursday, would likely be out on Sunday, according to Tony Grossi:
#Browns T.J. Ward (foot) still in cast. "There's a good chance he'll be out." -- Pat Shurmur.
Also from Grossi is the fact that wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi was sent home from practice yet again with lingering effects from a concussion. Massaquoi suffered the concussion against the Seattle Seahawks and missed the game against the San Francisco 49ers, but was active against the Houston Texans. He left that game in the third period feeling woozy, and has yet to practice since then.
Lastly, kicker Phil Dawson missed practice with a migraine, but he's expected to play on Sunday against the Rams.
