The injury news is getting a little bit better for the Cleveland Browns, as wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi continues to near his return from a concussion. Massaquoi missed significant time before returning against the Houston Texans two weeks ago, but left in the second half with more concussion-like symptoms (which essentially means "concussion"). He went on to miss the game against the St. Louis Rams last week to be safe.
On Wednesday, Massaquoi was limited in practice, and the same goes for Thursday. Mary Kay Cabot reported on Twitter that Massaquoi was likely to play, and then had a quote from Massaquoi, attesting to the wide receiver's optimism about his chances to be active against the Jaguars.
#browns wr Mohamed massaquoi (concussion) is "real optimistic" he can play Sunday.
The wide receiver also suffered a concussion last season. After trying to play once, he'll likely be very cautious on Sunday, but it looks like he's already passed all the tests he needs to. Josh Cribbs has been playing in his place when he's been out.
