Peyton Hillis Injury Update: Not Practicing With Team, Working With Trainer On Wednesday

Scratch that earlier news that running back Peyton Hillis would be practicing on Wednesday. Well, the official news that Hillis would try to practice to some extent, and that's still in, but he's not going to be working out with the team at all, according to Mary Kay Cabot:

His status for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans remains very much up in the air, but at least Hillis is doing something. If he doesn't join his teammates soon, he'll probably be ruled out of the game, but for now, working with the trainer is progress. He'll likely try to do some light running and work on getting that hamstring moving to see if it tightens up or anything of that nature.

On Wednesday of last week, Hillis practiced a little, maybe doing too much too soon and ended up dealing with tightness on Thursday that ultimately kept him out of the game against the 49ers.
