Week 12 NFL Power Rankings: Browns Win Moves Them Up Three Places

For more on the Browns, visit SB Nation's Dawgs By Nature.

While Sunday's victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars was far from a thing of beauty, Browns fans will take it. Cleveland's offense was able to scrape up just enough for the victory, while the defense held at the goal line for an important 14-10 victory to move to 4-6 overall. As a result, Joel Thorman moved Cleveland up three places in this week's SB Nation NFL Power Rankings:

24. Cleveland Browns (4-6, LW: 27): The offense is miserable but they got enough to beat Jacksonville last Sunday. Tough spot with them in arguably the best division in football.

Where the Browns are hurt is that they play int he AFC North, where the other three teams could all reach the playoffs. If the Browns were in the AFC West they would be in the middle of the playoff race. Cleveland does still have a chance to make a statement in the AFC North, as five of their remaining six games are against divisional opponents.
