Earlier on Thursday came news that Peyton Hillis practiced with the rest of the team and that he "looked good" doing it. There's still no official status for Hillis (that comes on Friday) in regards to an official injury report for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, but he spoke to media after practice and said he felt good about his chances to play come gameday, via ESPN:
"I'm on pace to be healthy and play Sunday," he said afterward. "That's what I'm looking forward to and that's what I'm hoping to do."
Hillis also said that if today were Sunday and they were about to play the Texans, he'd be playing. He's likely going to take it slowly though, as he thought he might be close to being ready last week, before his hamstring tightened up and he didn't practice again until this week, missing Sunday's game against the 49ers. Either way, it's good that he's that confident at this point.
