The Cleveland Browns are slipping in the Week 17 Power Rankings.

The Cleveland Browns were unimpressive in their Week 16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and are likely on the way to a top-five pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Thus, it makes sense that the Browns are 27th in SB Nation's Week 17 NFL Power Rankings, and have fallen one spot from last week's perch at 26th.

Here's what Joel Thorman thinks about the Browns this week:

27. Cleveland Browns (4-11, LW: 26): Cleveland has lost all five games against AFC North opponents and could add the sixth next weekend. That's not a good sign for the future.

Worse still: of those five losses to AFC North opponents, just one, a 23-20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12, was by single digits. That loss touched off the Browns' current five-game losing streak, which has sent Cleveland spiraling from a fringe AFC playoff contender to one of the worst teams in the NFL.
