One teams garbage is another team's treasure. That's the story with former 1st-round pick Kamerion Wimbley. The Browns traded Wembley last off-season to the Oakland Raiders for a 3rd-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Now, Wimbley will receive a huge paycheck - at least for one season - as the Raiders have reportedly placed the franchise tag on Wimbley for the 2011 season.
↵Wimbley was selected by the Browns with the 13th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. He totaled 11 sacks his rookie season before struggling in 2007 and 2008. Wimbley had a bit of a bounce-back 2009 with 6.5 sacks, but Mike Holmgren decided to trade Wimbley last March.
↵With the Raiders, Wimbley played in 16 games, finishing with nine sacks - his highest total since 2006 - and 58 tackles.
