The Cleveland Browns have the No. 6 overall pick in the upcoming draft, which means that they will be able to choose from all but five of the prospects that are eligible to be drafted this year; technically. It's an awfully big decision to make. But according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, they have narrowed their wish list down to two; although the names on that list aren't clear.
Browns General Manager Tom Heckert told the Akron Beacon Journal that his wish list with the Browns’ first-round pick in this week’s NFL draft, the sixth pick overall, contains only two players, and if neither of those two players is available when the Browns are on the clock, they’ll try to trade down.
They continue to speculate that one of the names is Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green, and I think that makes a great deal of sense. They also throw out the name Marcell Dareus, but I think the Browns are realistic enough to know that Dareus will not be there when they draft. So maybe Robert Quinn, the other name PFT mentions, is a more attainable target.
