Gladiators Suffer A Philly Beat-Down

The Cleveland Gladiators, on the cusp of a divisional championship in the Arena Football League with a 9-6 record and a one-game lead over the Pittsburgh Power, went to Philadelphia last night to take on the 5-11 Soul...and proceeded to put up their worst offensive performance of the season in a 49-21 loss.

The loss will not affect the Gladiators' chances for the post-season, but Pittsburgh can now draw even at 9-7 if the Power can defeat the Arizona Rattlers at home on Sunday night.

Next Friday Pittsburgh comes to town, before the Gladiators end their regular season on July 22 at home against the Utah Blaze.
