Cleveland Browns To Wear All-White Uniforms At Home This Season

The Cleveland Browns are heading back to the future in 2011 with word that the team will wear their white jerseys with white pants for all home games, a tradition that dates all the way back to Paul Brown's days in Cleveland.

The announcement was made via the Twitter account of Dan Murphy, the Media Relations Coordinator with the Browns. So far, the feedback I have seen has not been very good, with everything from, "Horrible Decision" and "Bring Back To Orange Alternates".

To the Browns' credit, however, the team is trying to reach back into the glory years. At this point, with just one playoff game since the team returned in 1999, I think it is worth trying just about anything! Besides, anything is better than the white jersey, brown pants look that former head coach Eric Mangini seemed to like!
