Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson was severely limited after suffering a rib injury on the opening drive of the Browns' 32-24 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Richardson took a helmet to the side after touching the ball on the Browns' first four plays and was severely limited throughout the rest of the game. The rookie running back finished the game with 37 yards on 14 carries and spent much of his time on the sidelines. After the game he said that he would be back next week, but Richardson will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury. Montario Hardesty filled in in Richardson's absence.
Wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi missed Sunday's game with a hamstring injury; also inactive were defensive backs Dimitri Patterson and Tashaun Gipson. Cornerback Joe Haden was able to return to the Browns' lineup after serving his four-game suspension.
