The Cleveland Browns have picked up their first win of the season. Now they're at 1-5, and just need the rest of the division to go ahead and lose out the rest of the season to make the playoffs! OK, they're not likely to make it to the playoffs, but the win is nice, no matter how you slice it. They are rising up the weekly power rankings, as an unstoppable juggernaut, or something along those lines.
In reality, they've jumped a space or two, but not much. SB Nation's latest rankings have them at No. 30, up one spot from last week:
30. Cleveland Browns (LW: 31, 1-5): The Browns are on the board. That's win No. 1 of the season.
The Browns are unquestionably going in the right direction. If you go five-straight losses, the only thing you can do is hope to win your sixth game. ESPN also had the Browns at No. 30, which is up two spots from where they were previously, which was at the very bottom. FOX Sports has the Browns a bit higher up, at No. 29, up three spots. And CBS Sports comes in at the end, with the Browns up higher than the rest, at No. 28.
