NFL schedule 2012: Browns host Chargers in Week 8

Phillip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers pay a visit to Browns Stadium on Sunday.

The Cleveland Browns are still on the hunt for their second win of the season as pressure continues to mount on head coach Pat Shurmur, and on Sunday they'll welcome the San Diego Chargers to Browns Stadium. Both teams are coming off tough losses, with the Browns whiffing on a very winnable game against the Indianapolis Colts and the Chargers blowing a massive lead in a 35-24 loss to the Denver Broncos. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. on CBS.

Elsewhere around the AFC North, the Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Washington Redskins and phenom Robert Griffin III. The Steelers sit at 3-3 on the season, and will be looking to make a move in the division coming off a win over the Cincinnati Bengals. That game begins at 1 p.m. and will be aired on FOX.

The Bengals and the Ravens, meanwhile, are both on their bye weeks in Week 8. The Ravens in particular, with a battered defense and lackluster offense that were both dominated in Week 7 by the Houston Texans, could use the week off.
