Chargers vs. Browns: Brandon Weeden excited to have full compliment of receivers back

Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden is excited to get all of his receivers back on the field.

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden has played well over the past three weeks, and now the signal caller may finally get all of his wide receivers back in Week 8. Weeden has thrown for six touchdowns and just three interceptions over the last three games, and during that span he has completed more than 60 percent of his passes.

When the Browns host the Chargers this weekend, Greg Little, Josh Gordon, Travis Benjamin and Mohamed Massaquoi may all be at Weeden's disposal. Cleveland.com has the transcript from Weeden's talk with the media on Wednesday, and the QB's excitement about getting his wide receivers back for Week 8 was clear:

"A couple weeks ago, we were worried about not having enough so it's nice having those guys back. Those guys are able to be fresh when they are running routes. They are running at full speed because they come out for a play or for a couple plays. It's good having all those guys in there. It doesn't mess up our timing. It probably actually helps us more than anything because they are doing the reps full speed. It's nice to have those guys back. It doesn't change anything we do offensively. More than anything, it's more of a positive for us."

Rookie running back Trent Richardson currently leads the team in receptions with 24, while Josh Gordon hold the top mark with four touchdown catches but he has only grabbed 14 receptions on 36 total targets. Cleveland has the No. 15 passing offense in the NFL heading into Week 8.
