Mohamed Massaquoi injury: Browns wideout to miss Giants game

The Cleveland Browns ruled out veteran wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi for Sunday's game against the New York Giants on Saturday, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Massaquoi did not participate in practice this week, after coming up with a hamstring injury in Week 3 against theBuffalo Bills. He missed Thursday's game against the Baltimore Ravens with the injury on top of that.

Massaquoi has been quarterback Brandon Weeden's top target, and is essentially the only veteran receiver on the team, given that two rookies have seen playing time in Travis Benjamin and Josh Gordon. Greg Little, the No. 2 option behind Massaquoi, is only in his second year in the NFL.

You'll see less of Benjamin and more of Gordon on Sunday, though, as Benjamin was also ruled out for Sunday's game with a hamstring injury he suffered against Baltimore. Rookie Jordan Norwood was active for the first time against the Ravens thanks to Massaquoi's injury, and he caught four passes for 64 yards. It's likely he'll receive playing time as the third receiver.
