Ravens vs. Browns score update: Phil Dawson field goals cut into Baltimore lead

Cleveland Browns kicker Phil Dawson hit three field goals in the second quarter to cut a 14-0 Baltimore Ravens lead to 14-9 going into halftime.

Dawson hit a 32-yard field goal with 9:22 to play in the second and a 28-yarder a couple minutes before the half. And after a quick three-and-out by the Ravens, Cleveland went no-huddle and added a 7-play, 50-yard drive in a minute to set up a 29-yard field goal with seconds remaining on the clock.

Brandon Weeden and Trent Richardson both ratcheted up the offense after having no first downs in the first quarter. Richardson had 14 touches for 76 yards, all but nine coming in the second quarter. Weeden completed 11 of 18 passes for 129 yards.

The Browns defense also stiffened up against a Baltimore offense that cruised in the first quarter. At halftime, Joe Flacco had 100 yards passing and the Ravens had 93 yards on the ground.
