The Cleveland Browns announced a pair of roster moves on Monday night, signing tight end Brad Smelley off the practice squad and waiving defensive lineman Ronnie Cameron.
Smelley is a rookie out of Alabama that was selected with the 247th pick overall in the 2012 NFL Draft. The tight end has spent all regular season on the Browns' practice squad. Smelley did play in all four preseason games for Cleveland, recording two catches for 21 yards and one touchdown.
Cameron split time between the Browns' active roster and practice squad this season. The defensive tackle spent five weeks on the active roster, but was inactive in four of those games. Cameron did not see any action in the other game.
Cleveland has shown some promise this season after starting the year 2-8. The Browns will take a three-game winning streak into their home game against the red-hot Washington Redskins in Week 15.
