The Cleveland Browns (5-8) host the Washington Redskins (7-6) on Sunday at 1 p.m. on FOX, but won't have to deal with rookie Washington standout quarterback Robert Griffin III, who will sit out the game with an injury. Another rookie, Kirk Cousins, will start in Griffin's place.
Cleveland comes into the game with three straight wins, including a 30-7 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week. Two rookies have led the Cleveland offense. Running back Trent Richardson has 869 rushing yards and 348 receiving yards with 10 total touchdowns. Quarterback Brandon Weeden has passed for 3,037 yards, 13 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
The Browns are ranked ninth in the league in total defense.
Washington has won four straight games and moved into a tie for second place in the NFC East. Last week, after Griffin left the game with an injury, Cousins drove Washington for a tying touchdown and 2-point conversion against the Baltimore Ravens and the team eventually won the game in overtime.
