On Sunday, the Cleveland Browns will be looking to do something that no team has done since Oct. 7: defeat the Denver Broncos. The last team to do so was the New England Patriots, who took down the Broncos by the score of 31-17. Since then, the Broncos have reeled off nine straight wins, and will be looking to add the Browns to that list of victims.
Cleveland, meanwhile, had its own three-game winning streak snapped by the Washington Redskins last Sunday. At 5-9 on the season, the Browns have been eliminated from the playoffs but can put together an improved season with a strong finish to the year. It also may help save the jobs of various players as well as coach Pat Shurmur, who may not be retained by the franchise's new ownership group after the season.
If the Browns are going to knock off the Broncos, though, the pass defense will undoubtedly have to play better than they did against the Redskins. Sunday's game kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
