With their inconsistent regular season set to wind down this Sunday in Pittsburgh, the Cleveland Browns were once again without the services of their top two quarterbacks in practice on Thursday.
Starter Brandon Weeden and backup Colt McCoy sat out for the second consecutive day with right shoulder injuries, creating even more uncertainty surrounding their individual statuses for Sunday's game. The two quarterbacks were joined by a 12 other players on Cleveland's official Week 17 injury report, including star rookie tailback Trent Richardson.
Needing just 50 rushing yards against the Steelers to reach the 1,000-yard plateau for the season, the 230-pound Richardson has yet to practice this week due to an ankle injury. He remains questionable to suit up on Sunday and will likely need to practice in some capacity on Friday afternoon in order to see the field one final time as a rookie. Along with Richardson, defensive back Sheldon Brown and tight end Jordan Cameron missed Thursday's action with head injuries.
