NFL Draft 2012: Draft Tek Says Robert Griffin III To Cleveland At Fourth Overall Pick

Draft Tek is a site that specializes in online NFL Draft simulations, and their newest 2012 Mock -- which goes a full seven rounds! -- has the Cleveland Browns selecting Robert Griffin III with the fourth overall selection yet again.

This pick would be a no-brainer if it were not for the Washington Redskins, who could offer a king's ransom for Griffin's draft rights to St. Louis or Minnesota in a blockbuster draft day trade. It is highly unlikely that the Browns will trade up for Griffin. That said, if Griffin is available here I see absolutely no chance that the Browns will pass on him.

It's important to note that Draft Tek's system does not allow for or account for trade possibilities, so the Redskins trading up with a bundle of players and money to get RGIII at the second or third overall pick remains a very real possibility even as they say that RGIII will be a Brown. Their best guess at alternate players for the Browns if Griffin is gone include LSU CB Morris Claiborne and Alabama RB Trent Richardson.

They could also always trade the pick themselves, of course. Two first round selections give the Browns plenty of wiggle room to move down a bit if they really want to, and they might need to if the recurring Redskins rumors turn out to be true.
