NFL Draft 2012: Cleveland Trades Up For Robert Griffin III In Latest SB Nation Mock

The NFL scouting combine is in full swing, but the Cleveland Browns probably aren't incredibly concerned when it comes to who they're planning on selecting in the first round. Baylor QB Robert Griffin III is the consensus second best QB in the draft and one of the best players in the nation, and nothing that happens at the combine is going to change that.

Cleveland have been getting mocked RGIII via a trade to the second overall selection for some time now, and that trend has resurfaced big time in recent days. The new SB Nation 2012 NFL Mock Draft follows the same trend, pointing out that the Browns have plenty of trade bait thanks to having two selections in the draft's first round.

There are a handful of teams who badly need a quarterback, but the Redskins and Browns are considered to be two of the teams that would strongly consider trading up to grab RG3. The Browns seem to be the team that is more likely to make a move for RG3, though. They have two first round picks in 2012 and they have more to offer than the Redskins do.

The Rams have a lot of big needs, so two first round selections is probably too much for them to turn down no matter what the Redskins try to throw at them. Other teams that were at one point rumored to be in on Griffin like the Seattle Seahawks seem to have left the conversation as well, so we might be down to a two horse race.
