Super Bowl 2012 Score Update: Giants Up 9-0 On Patriots

So far Super Bowl XLVI has been all Giants, as New York has taken advantage of a Tom Brady mistake to open up a 9-0 lead after one quarter. Brady dropped back to pass on New England's first play from scrimmage and threw deep down the field to no one. Intentional grounding was called, and the Giants were awarded a safety.

The Giants then drove the free kick 78 yards in nine plays to score on a two yard touchdown pass to Victor Cruz. that made the lead 9-0 with New England having had the ball for only one play.
