Super Bowl 2012 Halftime Update: Patriots 10, Giants 9

Even though the New York Giants opened up a very early 9-0 lead thanks to its defense in Super Bowl XLVI, it is the New England Patriots who lead at halftime thanks to a four yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Danny Woodhead.

The Patriots drove 96 yards in 14 plays, one of the longest drives in Super Bowl history, to score just 15 seconds before halftime. Since his early mistake for a safety Brady has been virtually flawless, throwing for 147 yards on 15 of 18 passing. Eli manning has been equally good, throwing 12 of 17 for 120 yards and a score to Victor Cruz in the first quarter.

Wes Welker has four catches for 42 yards.
